Brady Minow Smith joined the Montana Innocence Project after practicing as a public defender for nearly 13 years in three states.
As a public defender and trial attorney for over a decade, Brady represented hundreds of clients charged with crimes. She worked in Helena, Montana, Salt Lake City, Utah, and most recently in New Orleans, Louisiana where she was also a supervising attorney. For the last few years, Brady exclusively represented clients facing a penalty of life without the possibility of parole and supervised attorneys representing those clients. With extensive trial experience and the perspective of representing clients from all different backgrounds in courtrooms around the country, Brady is excited to use the skills she has cultivated to fight injustice across Montana with MTIP.
Brady received her law degree from the University of Montana School of Law (now Alexander Blewett III School of Law).
