Join us to visit our offices, meet staff and board members, and discuss your interest in the work. Our offices are located in the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana. Brief remarks will be made at 6:00 p.m.

Every month, the Montana Innocence Project highlights the important work of like-minded organizations. This month, we are highlighting YWCA Missoula. MTIP and YWCA Missoula similarly work to promote racial justice in Montana and eliminate systemic barriers for minoritized groups. Go to the link in our bio to read more!

On Independence Day, we want to draw attention to the freedoms lost during and after incarceration.

The Montana Innocence Project will be highlighting the necessary work of like-minded organizations every month. For the month of June, we want to share this short film produced by pathos labs about the wrongful conviction of Jason Hogan. Jason is serving 77 years for a crime he did not commit. There is no physical evidence linking him to the crime. He was wrongfully convicted solely on witness misidentification. The Korey Wise Innocence Project is seeking his clemency. This film titled "Dear Jason" is accompanied by a campaign to send 500 emails to Colorado Governor Jared Polis by the end of this month. They need about 150 more emails.
