Explore Justice with Us on October 2

Each year on October 2, organizations around the world observe Wrongful Conviction Day to raise awareness about the causes and impacts of wrongful convictions. This year, the Montana Innocence Project is honored to host a special event and discussion centered on The Jailhouse Lawyer by Calvin Duncan and Sophie Cull, with Calvin joining us as a special guest.

The Jailhouse Lawyer tells Calvin’s powerful story of how he went from facing the death penalty in Orleans Parish Prison to becoming a self-taught jailhouse lawyer at Angola, helping others fight for justice.
