Miranda “Randi” Mattox

Miranda “Randi” Mattox serves as the Montana Innocence Project’s Director of Advancement. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Media Communications from Colorado State University and an M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Southern California.

A multimedia storyteller, Randi specializes in people-centered narratives that illuminate the connections between racial justice, criminal legal reform, and decarceration. She is committed to helping supporters and donors understand the lived experiences behind these issues, the pathways to releasing unjustly incarcerated people, and the community-centered approaches that help individuals thrive after incarceration.

Randi believes that meaningful rehabilitation and accountability rarely require endless incarceration, and that public safety is best supported through compassionate, creative, data-informed solutions. Through her role, she strives to build relationships that sustain MTIP’s work and empower supporters to join in advancing justice across Montana.
